Cape Gooseberry Seeds
Perennial, ornamental, 30-40 cm height plants. Fruits contain vitamin C, carotene, acidic and pectin substances. Fruits are eaten fresh or dried. Husks (calyxes) are removed, as they are poisonous. Replanted to the permanent place in shoots which grow from seed within 35-40 days. Grown outdoors in summer, love sun, warmth, bring the plants indoors before the frost.
