Beta vulgaris L.
Early high yielding cultivar. Root crop is flat-round, bright red colour. Suitable for fresh use, canning, storage. Harvested after 90-120 days after germination of seeds, before frost. Grow best in medium heavy, deeply tilled, non acid loamy soil. In poorly tiled soil beets germinate in different time, become sparse.
