Medium-early variety. Fruits are large, cylinder shaped, dark purple color. The flesh is firm, white. Aubergines are highly appreciated in vegetarian cuisine for high nutritional value. Used fresh, fried, steamed, can be preserved. Fruits are picked, until their peel is shiny – later they can become bitter. Higher yields can be expected when grown under cover.
