Heat loving vegetable with a creepy stem. Harvested in 111-120 days after planting the seedlings. Fruits are pear shaped, skin is yellow, orange flesh, sweet, with a pleasant taste of nuts. Cultivated outdoors and in greenhouses. Suitable for fresh use, longer storage, steaming, frying, soups and baking. Grow best in areas protected from winds, in sandy loam or light loamy soil.
