Description
Stipa tenuissima
Perennial, exceptionally beautiful grass. Inflorescences remind of feathers, look very lovely when grown in windy open flower-gardens – blooms and leaves create waves in the wind and looks particularly ornamental in the second half of the summer. Plants are drought tolerant, maintain ornamental nature even after the first frosts.
Grown in sunny location. Prefers light loose soil. Can be grown in the same location for 3–4 years. Should be covered for wintering.
