Description
Beta vulgaris L.
The cultivation period is 50–60 days after sowing. Plants are lush and are approx. 30-50 cm tall. The variety is distinctive for its heat resistance. Both leaves and stalks are edible. Harvesting can be done till late autumn. It grows best in non-acidic, humus, loamy soil. Suitable for boiling, stewing, frying and preserving.
